Thanks to spaceyplum, I read Then We Came To The End by Joshua Ferris and I adored it. It was both touching and hilarious, and I swear I know people like some of those characters. I also really enjoyed his writing style!

5. Secrets of the Model Dorm by Amanda Kerlin and Phil Oh

Very entertaining, easy read. A behind the scenes look at the modeling world, right down to weekly weigh ins and nightly parties.

4. Dirty Blonde by Lisa Scottoline

I enjoyed it, and was surprised by 'whodunit', though I kinda think the last chapter was a tad unneccesary (I had actually forgotten about the part being referenced in that chapter happening earlier in the book lol)

3. French Women Don't Get Fat by Mireille Guiliano

A venture into nonfiction. I found it an interesting book actually, with really solid points about the differences in the ways the European, specifically French in this book, culture views food and the way Americans do. Got a few tips from it that I'm going to try and use in my own life, specifically starting every day with a tall glass of water, before my coffee :)

5. Because I Said So

Eh...cute movie. Gabriel Macht is dreamy, Mandy Moore and Lauren Graham were cute. I mean it was predictable but it was good for a mindless Saturday night.

2. To the Nines by Janet Evanovich

Well I just love this whole series so obviously I loved this book. I like recent addition of Stephanie's sister Valerie, and I absolutely love Grandma Mazur. And THIS is a love triangle that's written right, b/c depending on the page, I can't decide if Stephanie should be with Joe or Ranger!

1. Double Cross by James Patterson

I haven't read one of his books since "Kiss the Girls"...but my brothers and I failed to adequately communicate before the holidays and we picked two copies of this up for our parents, so I decided to hang onto the extras. It's very quick reading, and I didn't really figure it out until about 3/4 of the way through. I do like his short chapters though, makes for feeling like you're getting somewhere.

It will be a small miracle if I make it LOL!
